Job Description

This is a hands on Energy Trading Middle Office role which works closely with the trading and commercial teams. The role will be responsible for generating daily forward P&L and checking that trade positions and prices have been accurately entered into the ETRM. The role will provide reporting and analysis covering all middle office activities.

You will need a strong understanding of Middle Office processes ideally from the energy trading markets with a focus on the gas markets. A good knowledge of both physical and financial markets would be ideal as well as good IT skills (Excel).

To be considered for this role you will need 3 to 7 years of relevant middle office or market risk experience within an energy trading business ideally with a focus on the gas markets. You will need strong analytical skills and excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) to work with and build strong stakeholder relationships with the commercial trading teams. You must be a good team player who enjoys working in a fast paced environment.
