There is an exciting opportunity to join staff at Emily Wilding Davison School as a middle leader, leading our new Autism Base area. In addition to your leadership responsibilities, you will teach a base class. We aim to appoint a middle leader who will plan and deliver creative and inspirational lessons across Key Stage 3 and 4, focusing on core subjects, and supporting students with Social and Emotional Mental Health needs. Students follow the national curriculum with bespoke pathways. We seek a leader with a range of skills and experiences to complement the school’s ethos of excellence.
Emily Wilding Davison School opened in September 2022 in Ponteland, moving from Atkinson House School in Seghill. We are a co-educational secondary school for students with SEMH needs, serving pupils from all areas of Northumberland, with a capacity of 100.
Our goal is to provide high-quality provision tailored to our learners’ needs and gaps in learning. We invite applications from experienced practitioners demonstrating outstanding relationships and outcomes. Successful applicants will receive strong support from the Head Teacher and Leadership Team, including a personalized CPD package for your transition.
