St George's School in Newport is recruiting a Midday Supervisory Assistant to support pupils during lunch breaks, ensuring a safe, calm and welcoming environment.
The role is 10 hours per week (Mon-Fri 11:30–13:30), term-time only (38 weeks). Successful applicants will work with a caring team and receive training to uphold safeguarding and inclusive support.
Experience not required; commitment to children with SEND and a flexible approach is valued.

Salary – Hay Grade 1 - £5,532 - £5,619 per annum, actual
Hours per week – 10 hours per week – 2 hours per day (Mon – Fri, 11.30 – 13.30),
term-time only (38 weeks)
As an MSA, you will ensure the safety, welfare and good conduct of pupils during the midday break period, in order to maintain a healthy, clean and safe learning environment for pupils and staff.
Your role will include the supervision of pupils across school premises, laying up and clearing away of eating equipment and feeding individual children as required, whilst encouraging appropriate behaviours and eating skills.
