Job description

Brookside Academy is looking to appoint two committed and enthusiastic Midday Supervisor Assistant’s to join our supportive team. This is a vital role in helping to create a happy and safe environment for our children during the lunchtime period.

2 part time roles available - 8.75 hours per week (permanent), 10 hours per week (maternity cover), 38 weeks per year (term time only)

Salary: BTC Scale Point 2, actual salary: £5,161.75 - £5,899.15 per annum.

The Role

As an MDSA, you will:

  • Supervise pupils during lunch breaks in the dining hall and playground
  • Help set up and clear the dining area
  • Support pupils in play activities and positive behaviour
  • Ensure the safety, wellbeing, and safeguarding of all children
  • Administer basic first aid when needed (training provided)

Experience is welcome, but full training will be provided.
