Midday Supervisor (Grade 5) - Permanent Roles

Job Information:

Birkett House is a popular and successful all-age special school for pupils with learning difficulties. We are a multi-site school in South Leicestershire, currently seeking Midday Supervisors. The main school site is in Wigston, with inclusion units at Thistly Meadow Primary School (Blaby), Little Hill Primary School (Wigston), Thomas Estley Community College (Broughton Astley), and a purpose-built Senior Department in Countesthorpe.

We require Midday Supervisor(s) to work at our Wigston site. Responsibilities include supervising pupils during break, helping to run structured games/activities, supporting and feeding pupils, and assisting with personal care. The successful applicant will join a team of midday supervisors, receiving training and induction.

Contract details:

  • Type: Term time only (38 weeks/year), with paid training days via timesheets
  • Term: Part-time, Permanent
  • Hours: 7.5 hours/week, Monday to Friday, 11:45 am to 1:15 pm
  • Grade: Grade 5, Point 7 (£13.05/hour)
  • Starting salary: £4,257 (pro-rata of F.T.E. £25,191)
