Job summary

SkegnessInfant and Junior Academies is seeking a dedicated Midday Supervisor to join the SJA team. You will supervise pupils during lunchtime across dining hall, playground and other areas, ensuring safety and well-being. You will manage behaviour, help with conflicts and promote an inclusive environment.

Working hours are Monday to Friday, 11:45am–1:00pm, term time only. Experience with children, teamwork, and First Aid (training available) are desirable.

Qualifications

  • Experience of working with children.
  • Flexible approach and ability to be part of a team.
  • First Aid Qualification (not essential; training can be provided).

Responsibilities

  • Supervise pupils during lunchtimes in dining hall and other areas.
  • Ensure safety and well-being of pupils.
  • Manage pupil behaviour and resolve conflicts.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive environment.

Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and responsible Midday Supervisor to join our SJA team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of pupils during lunchtime, supervising them in the dining hall, playground, and other school areas. Key duties include managing pupil behaviour, assisting with any issues or conflicts, and promoting a positive and inclusive environment. Working hours are Monday - Friday, 11:45am - 1:00pm, term time only.

We are looking for candidates who:

  • have experience of working with children,
  • have a flexible approach and ability to be part of a team,
  • hold a First Aid Qualification (not essential as training can be provided).
