Job summary

Lift Anglesey, part of Lift Schools, is seeking a friendly Midday Supervisor to help supervise lunchtimes and support pupils' safety and behaviour.

The role is part-time (6.25 hours per week) with an immediate start. You will supervise dining areas and playgrounds, promote positive interactions, respond to incidents, and work closely with staff to create a safe, enjoyable lunchtime experience for children.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children is beneficial but not essential.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting welfare of children.
• Calm, patient, and approachable with good communication.

Responsibilities

• Supervise pupils in dining areas, playgrounds and other lunchtime spaces.
• Encourage positive behaviour, respectful interactions and safe play.
• Respond promptly and appropriately to incidents or concerns during lunchtimes.
• Help keep lunchtime areas safe and tidy and support lunchtime activities as required.

Job description

Are you caring, approachable, and passionate about creating a safe and positive environment for children? We are looking for a friendly and reliable Midday Supervisor to join our team at Lift Anglesey and help make lunchtimes a safe, enjoyable, and positive part of the school day. As a Midday Supervisor, you will play an important role in supporting the safety, welfare and positive behaviour of our pupils during lunchtime.

You will supervise pupils across dining areas, playgrounds and other areas of the school, encouraging positive behaviour and respectful interactions. You will also help keep lunchtime areas safe and tidy, support activities where required and respond appropriately to any incidents or concerns.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children and wants to make a positive difference to their school experience.

• Is calm, patient, caring and approachable
• Has good communication skills and can communicate clearly with pupils
• Can promote positive behaviour and respectful relationships

• Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

Previous experience as a Midday Supervisor or working with children in a school environment would be beneficial but is not essential. Experience of supervising children as a parent or carer is welcomed.
