Job summary

Lift Anglesey is a large primary school within Lift Schools. As a Midday Supervisor you will help keep lunchtime safe, support activities, and encourage positive behaviour across dining areas and playgrounds.

The role is part-time (6.25 hours/week) with an immediate start, ideal for someone who enjoys working with children and can respond calmly to incidents as part of a supportive school team.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Midday Supervisor or working with children in a school is beneficial but not essential.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Responsibilities

• Supervise pupils across dining areas and playgrounds to support safety and positive behaviour.
• Encourage respectful interactions and tidy lunchtime environments.
• Respond promptly to incidents or concerns and support activities as required.

About the role

As a Midday Supervisor, you will play an important role in supporting the safety, welfare and positive behaviour of our pupils during lunchtime.

You will supervise pupils across dining areas, playgrounds and other areas of the school, encouraging positive behaviour and respectful interactions. You will also help keep lunchtime areas safe and tidy, support activities where required and respond appropriately to any incidents or concerns.

Previous experience as a Midday Supervisor or working with children in a school environment would be beneficial but is not essential. Experience of supervising children as a parent or carer is welcomed.
