Oakthorpe Primary School invites applications for a Midday Supervisor to support pupils during lunchtimes, ensuring a safe and inclusive environment. You will help supervise dining hall and playground areas, model positive behaviour and work as part of a caring lunchtime team.

You will communicate confidently with children and colleagues, contribute to the wellbeing of learners, and follow school policies to safeguard children at all times. A friendly, proactive approach is essential.

We are seeking a reliable, enthusiastic and caring individual who enjoys working with children and understands the importance of positive role modelling. The successful candidate will supervise pupils in the dining hall, playground and other designated areas, encouraging good behaviour, promoting positive social interaction and ensuring the health, safety and wellbeing of all children throughout the lunchtime break. You will support pupils in developing independence, cooperation and respect for others, whilst helping to resolve minor disputes and encouraging active, inclusive play.

The role requires someone who can work effectively as part of a team, communicate confidently with both children and colleagues, and remain calm and professional in a busy environment. You will contribute to maintaining a safe and orderly lunchtime experience, administering basic first aid where appropriate and following school policies and procedures to safeguard children at all times.
