Job summary

Northmoor Academy is seeking a lunchtime support assistant to work with pupils, including those with special needs. You will interact with children, assist during lunch, and help maintain a safe, supervised environment under school guidelines.

Ideal candidates will have experience with safeguarding, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work both as part of a team and on their own initiative within the school setting.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting and interacting with children with special needs.
• Ability to work under supervision within school guidelines.
• Strong interpersonal skills to communicate with children and gain attention.
• Flexible, able to use initiative within safeguarding rules.
• Understanding of safeguarding and creating a safe pupil environment.
• Support pupils with personal care needs.
