Job summary

Millwood Primary Special School in Greater Manchester is seeking conscientious midday supervisors to join the team. You will supervise pupils at lunchtimes, ensuring their safety and wellbeing and supporting feeding and play in a caring environment.

The successful candidate will be warm, patient and reliable, have a friendly, can-do approach, and work as part of a supportive staff to create a safe and enjoyable lunchtime experience for all children.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with children or in a school setting is preferred.
• Ability to supervise lunchtime activities and support feeding and personal care.
• Committed to safeguarding and creating a safe, inclusive environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise pupils during lunch, ensuring safety and wellbeing.
• Assist with feeding and personal care as needed.
• Support play and social interaction during the midday break.

Job description

We are seeking to appoint conscientious, hardworking midday supervisors to join the Millwood team.

Millwood School is a well-established, outstanding, and inclusive special school for children who have significant additional educational needs.

We have a spacious, state-of-the-art building with specialist facilities including a hydrotherapy pool, specialist play and therapy equipment, and extensive grounds.

The successful applicant will be responsible for supervising pupils over the lunchtime period, ensuring their safety and wellbeing at all times, assisting with feeding and personal care and play.
