Job summary

Hylands Primary School in Havering is seeking a caring Midday Supervisor for September 2026 to support children during lunch hours from 11.30am to 1.30pm, five days a week during 38 weeks per year.

The role is a permanent part-time post, 10.083 hours per week, with grade 1/2 (points 3–5) and a salary range of £6,717 to £6,909. The school values energy, enthusiasm and teamwork and will conduct safeguarding checks.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with primary school children is desirable.
  • Ability to engage and support children during lunch breaks.
  • Willingness to work as part of a team and follow safeguarding guidance.

Contract: Permanent Position

Hours: 10.083 Hours per week, 38 weeks per year 11.30am-13.30pm daily (+5 mins. allocation daily accrued for a half termly meeting)

Grade: 1/2, Points 3 – 5

Salary: £6,717 - £6,909 based on FTE of £28,617 - £29,436
