Midday Meals Supervisor (MMS) Vacancy

We are seeking to appoint a Midday Meals Supervisor (MMS) to join our team to support children during lunchtime. The role involves supervising and interacting with pupils across the school to ensure their wellbeing, safety, and an enjoyable dining and lunchtime experience.

The post is for 7.5 hours per week, from 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm, Monday to Friday, during term time only (38 weeks per year). The salary is set at Kent Range 3 (£23,337 full-time equivalent), with an actual salary of approximately £3,999 per annum.

Verification of qualifications is required before employment begins. Please do not declare any qualifications unless you can produce the original certificates.

A formal interview will be conducted with a panel comprising the MMS line manager and the HR Officer.

This position is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure via the Disclosure and Barring Service, a check against the ISA Barred List for Children, two satisfactory references, and verification of right to work in the UK. All new employees, including those with previous local government service, will undergo a 6-month probationary period.
