Job summary

Bridge Academy Trust is seeking a reliable Midday Assistant for Chipping Ongar Primary School to help supervise pupils during lunchtime, ensuring a safe, enjoyable break.

The role involves supervising in the dining hall and playground, encouraging positive behaviour and supporting pupil wellbeing. Full training will be provided and an enhanced DBS check will be sought.

Hours are 5 hours per week, 12:00–13:00, Monday to Friday, term time only, with permanent contract.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children would be beneficial but is not essential; full training will be provided.
• Applicants will need to follow health and safety and food hygiene procedures.
• DBS clearance and satisfactory references will be required.

Responsibilities

• supervise pupils during lunchtime in the dining hall and playground.
