Bridge Academy Trust is seeking a reliable Midday Assistant for Chipping Ongar Primary School to help supervise pupils during lunchtime, ensuring a safe, enjoyable break.
The role involves supervising in the dining hall and playground, encouraging positive behaviour and supporting pupil wellbeing. Full training will be provided and an enhanced DBS check will be sought.
Hours are 5 hours per week, 12:00–13:00, Monday to Friday, term time only, with permanent contract.

Scale 2 Point 3 with Fringe (£2,920 per annum)

We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Midday Assistant to help support pupils during lunchtime, ensuring they have a safe, enjoyable and positive break. The role involves supervising children in the dining hall and playground, encouraging positive behaviour and supporting their wellbeing during this important part of the school day.
Applicants will need to follow the school’s health and safety and food hygiene procedures. Experience working with children would be beneficial but is not essential, as full training will be provided.
