We are seeking a talented and versatile Mid-Weight Graphic Designer to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for producing high-quality visual content across a diverse range of formats, including digital assets, social media graphics, print materials, and video content. The ideal candidate will be a proactive and creative self-starter who can effectively translate briefs into impactful designs, take direction constructively, and also work autonomously to deliver exceptional results.

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

Design & Production:

• Conceptualise and create visually engaging design language for integrated campaigns.
• Develop compelling graphics and templates for various media channels.
• Design and prepare artwork for a range of print materials (brochures, flyers, posters, packaging).
• Contribute to the visual development of video projects, including graphics, lower thirds, and potentially storyboarding.
• Ensure all designs adhere to brand guidelines and maintain a consistent visual identity.
• Manage and organise design files effectively.
• Prepare final artwork for print and digital delivery, ensuring technical specifications are met.

Proactive Work:

• Take initiative to propose creative solutions and explore new design trends.
• Manage workload efficiently, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines independently.
• Proactively seek out information and resources to enhance design skills and knowledge.
• Work closely with the production team to understand project objectives and target audiences.
• Effectively interpret design briefs and feedback, translating them into successful visual solutions.
• Participate in creative brainstorms and contribute innovative ideas.
• Communicate design concepts and rationale clearly and confidently.

SKILLS:

• Proven experience as a Graphic Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of projects across digital, social, and print formats.
• Solid understanding of design principles (typography, layout, colour theory, imagery).
• Proficiency in industry-standard design software, including Adobe Creative Suite.
• Experience designing for social media platforms and understanding their specific requirements.
• Knowledge of print production processes and preparing artwork for print.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
• Experience in visual storyboarding for video content.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A proactive and problem-solving attitude.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• A passion for visual communication and staying up-to-date with design trends.
• Experience in creating engaging animations for social media, website elements, or video content would be an advantage.
