Vickers Neal Recruitment are delighted to be working with Elegant Clutter based at their beautiful offices in Warwick.

Due to their continued success, we have an exciting opportunity for a Mid-Weight Designer to join their established team.

Mid-Weight Designer (£24 – 28k)

In order to fulfil the requirements of this exciting opportunity, we are looking for an individual who would describe themselves as:

Energetic and experienced, with an unrivalled passion for art and 3 to 5 years professional experience.

Working on the development of art collections, you will be involved in every stage of the creative process from initial research and concept presentations through to artwork setup for print. A love of the technical side of design is equally as important as artistic skills.

You will be:

  1. Ideally qualified to degree level in Graphic Design, Fine Art, Textile Design, or a similar college course (However, applications will be considered from candidates whose CV clearly demonstrates an equivalent level of professional knowledge).
  2. Minimum 3+ years experience in a Mac-based studio/print/creative environment.
  3. Strong Adobe Creative Suite skills, with a continuous learning mindset.
  4. A portfolio that demonstrates a creative eye for colour, composition, and imaginative thinking.
  5. Hand painting/drawing skills would be advantageous.
  6. IT literate with Microsoft Office programmes (Excel to a basic level, Word, Outlook & PowerPoint).
  7. Good working knowledge of digital printing.
  8. Methodical, organised, and accurate working style.
  9. Ability to work at pace and deliver multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
  10. Able to remain calm in a busy working environment and concentrate under pressure.
  11. Strong communication skills – able to build effective working relationships with other departments and ensure that internal processes are maintained and improved.
  12. Deadline driven.
  13. Positive, team-oriented, passionate about art and design, full of ideas and inspiration.
