ARE YOU A MID - SENIOR INTERIOR DESIGNER IN THE HIGH END/ PRIME RESIDENTIAL SECTOR LOOKING FOR A NEW AND EXCITING ROLE?

Our client is based in Altrincham and specializes in prime/high-end residential interior design. They are looking for a new team member to join their team. The team, which works from initial concept to completion, specializes in 3D visuals, bespoke cabinetry & furniture, architect liaison, project coordination, and more.

The current team consists of 6 members (3 Interior Designers, a Technical Designer, two Directors, and an Office Manager). They are seeking another Senior Designer following a team member's departure.

This role is studio-based, five days a week.

REQUIREMENTS OF THE ROLE

• Interior Design BA(Hons) Degree (minimum).
• At least 3 years of experience in similar sectors.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in SketchUp.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
• Experience managing projects from concept to completion.
• Knowledge and experience in quantifying for upholstery and window treatments, including fire rating regulations.
• Experience liaising with onsite trades.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills.

ROLES AND FURTHER REQUIREMENTS

• Managing projects from concept to completion.
• Design and specification of soft furnishings and fabrics.
• Creating designs for luxury residential projects, including furniture, joinery, textiles, soft furnishings, flooring, and lighting.
• Leading client presentations and meetings to develop and progress design work.
• Working with a team, delegating tasks to junior staff, and preparing management reports.
• Attending site meetings and liaising with other consultants and contractors to ensure project completion.
• Willingness to travel within the UK for site meetings.
