A major initiative is underway for Enterprise Architecture and OSS Transformation, and we are seeking a Mid/Senior Domain Architect to join a tactical team. The successful candidate will translate architectural concepts into actionable designs, collaborate on API and microservices delivery, and ensure designs align with business requirements. This role demands experience in cloud computing and telecommunications, with a focus on agile delivery frameworks, availing an opportunity to contribute to critical telecom system deliveries.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years in Cloud & Edge Computing.
  • 5+ years in OSS/BSS & Integration.
  • 3+ years in Agile/SAFe Delivery Frameworks.
  • 5+ years in a domain or enterprise architecture role within telecommunications.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking.
  • Excellent documentation skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Translate high-level architectural concepts into actionable High-Level Designs (HLDs) and Low-Level Designs (LLDs).
  • Collaborate with technical teams on the design and delivery of APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
  • Ensure all designs are traceable to business and functional requirements.
  • Act as a liaison between system-wide architecture and delivery teams to maintain design integrity.
  • Support the transition from Time & Materials (T&M) to outcome-based delivery models.
  • Contribute to the creation and evolution of enterprise architecture standards and documentation.

Project Title: Enterprise Architecture & OSS Transformation

Contract: Three months rolling INSIDE IR35

Location: Hybrid (London-centric, commutable)
Working Hours: 8 hours/day; Core availability 10:00-16:00 (London Time)

About the Project

Our client is embarking on a major Enterprise Architecture and OSS Transformation initiative. As part of this strategic evolution, they are assembling a tactical core team to drive architectural outcomes that align technology with business goals. They are seeking experienced Domain Architects to bridge high-level architectural frameworks with hands-on development execution, ensuring successful delivery of mission-critical telecom systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate high-level architectural concepts into actionable High-Level Designs (HLDs) and Low-Level Designs (LLDs).
  • Collaborate with technical teams on the design and delivery of APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
  • Ensure all designs are traceable to business and functional requirements.
  • Act as a liaison between system-wide architecture and delivery teams to maintain design integrity.

Required Business Experience

  • Multi-Vendor Agile Delivery 3+ years
  • Stakeholder Coordination 3+ years

Industry Experience

  • Telecommunications: 5+ years in a domain or enterprise architecture role within telecom environments.
