We are seeking a Mid / Senior Contentious Construction / Engineering Solicitor looking to lay strong foundations for their next career move. ( 4yrs PQE +)

We are mandated on behalf of a leading law firm with a stellar reputation in the construction and infrastructure space. This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside top-tier professionals on high-value projects, from major developments with developers, funders and investors (as well as contractors) both nationally and internationally on significant energy and infrastructure projects

From complex contractual disputes and delay claims to adjudications and high-value litigation, you’ll work on challenging, high-profile matters with developers, contractors, and consultants across the UK & Overseas. Whether in court or at the negotiation table, you’ll be at the forefront of shaping outcomes that matter.

  • You will be working on complex domestic and international building, engineering and development projects. You will act for developers, specialist and main contractors in litigation, arbitration (domestic and international) & adjudication. Covering PFI/PP
  • The work will cover all aspects of domestic and international construction, engineering, PFI/PP and major projects including matters such as:

Contractual interpretation on all major industry forms – JCT, NEC, FIDIC;

  • Payment; Delay and extension of time;
  • Defects, professional negligence, termination and insolvency; and
  • Strategic advice
