Job Description:

We are seeking a Mid / Senior Construction / Engineering Solicitor with at least 3 years PQE to establish a strong foundation for their next career move. This role is with a leading law firm renowned for its expertise in construction and infrastructure sectors. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with top-tier professionals on high-value projects, including major developments with developers, funders, investors, and contractors, both nationally and internationally, focusing on energy and infrastructure projects.

The role involves working across various renewable and construction sectors, including solar, wind (onshore and offshore), nuclear, biomass, tidal, geothermal, and major infrastructure projects such as highways, rail, health, and education.

Responsibilities:

• Advising developers, contractors, and public sector clients on key construction contracts including FIDIC, NEC, IChemE, MF/1, JCT, and project structures.
• Managing a broad caseload with support from senior partners.
• Providing strategic input on risk management.
• Collaborating across departments on large-scale infrastructure and renewable projects.

Candidate Profile:

• Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales) with 3+ years PQE in construction law.
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills.
• Experience with standard form contracts (JCT, NEC, FIDIC, etc.).
• Commercial awareness and a proactive, client-focused approach.
