Job summary

Walker Lovell Ltd. in London is seeking a sector-led mid-market M&A adviser to expand the Business Services footprint, originate mandates, and leverage relationships with business owners, management teams, private equity investors and corporates.

You will lead engagements from origination to execution, build senior client relationships, and collaborate across borders to unlock opportunities within multiple advisory lines.

Qualifications

• Strong UK mid-market corporate finance / M&A advisory experience at Director, Partner or equivalent level.
• Deep Business Services expertise with an established network of business owners, corporates, private equity investors and senior industry decision-makers.
• Originate and win M&A mandates and generate meaningful fee opportunities, not just execute transactions.
• Strong sector credibility and ability to develop senior client relationships over the long term.
• Commercial range to identify opportunities beyond M&A and connect clients with wider advisory capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Expand Business Services coverage, developing sector depth.
• Originate mid-market M&A and advisory opportunities through established relationships.
• Lead M&A engagements from origination to execution.
