Due to internal promotion, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Business Development Manager to work within our Mid-Market Sales team, responsible for growing existing business within the Manchester and Preston areas.

We’re on a mission to grow our business, and we need a dynamic, customer-focused Business Development Manager to join our Mid-Market Sales Division, focusing on the Manchester and Preston areas.

The Role:
As a Business Development Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving sales growth within the Mid-Market sector. You'll be part of an experienced team, with opportunities to develop your own portfolio of accounts.

In return, you will receive a salary of up to £35k per annum (+ commission, company car, etc.)

What you will be doing as a Business Development Manager:

  • Managing relationships and accounts effectively (new wins will be transferred to you regularly)
  • Maintaining and growing existing business accounts
  • Having margin discussions as needed
  • Conducting regular customer visits to create and deliver account development plans
  • Implementing and launching new accounts as required

What you must have to be successful:

  • A proven track record of achieving sales and margin targets
  • Evidence of selling skills to grow existing business
  • Excellent customer awareness and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to sell and negotiate at all organizational levels
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Ability to analyze data to identify potential within existing clients
  • A full driving license
