Job summary

Achuman Capital is seeking a Managing Associate for the Infrastructure Real Estate team in the UK. You will advise on energy and transport projects across the country, handling land acquisitions, rights, and statutory processes to support major developments.

You will also oversee complex land matters, advise on property tax and environmental issues, manage portfolio transactions, and lead junior lawyers to ensure timely delivery of infrastructure projects in collaboration with clients.

Qualifications

• 4+ years’ PQE in real estate law.
• Strong commercial awareness and client-relationship skills.
• Experience supervising juniors and managing teams.

Responsibilities

• Advise on land acquisition, land rights and statutory processes for large infrastructure schemes.
• Manage landlord and tenant matters and portfolio transactions.
• Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to deliver time-sensitive infrastructure projects.
• Supervise junior team members and mentor associates.

We are working with a top-tier UK law firm based in London for a Managing Associate to join their Real Estate team.

The Role:

The successful candidate will join an Infrastructure Real Estate team advising on nationally significant energy and transport projects across the UK. The role involves providing specialist real estate and consenting advice on large-scale infrastructure schemes, including land acquisition, land rights and statutory processes supporting major development projects.

Key responsibilities also include handling complex land and landlord and tenant matters, advising on property tax, environmental and contaminated land issues, managing portfolio transactions, supervising junior team members, and delivering time-sensitive infrastructure projects in collaboration with clients and stakeholders.

Essential Criteria:

• 4+ years’ PQE;
• Strong real estate law background;
• Commercial awareness;
• Supervising experience;
• Ability to build upon existing and new client relationships;
• Strong communication skills;
• Team player;
• Technically excellent.
