Job summary

Insightful Technology is seeking a mid-level Software Engineer to develop and maintain backend services for SOTERIA™ solutions, focusing on C# development in a regulated environment. The role involves working across design, development, testing, and deployment to deliver scalable, secure features.

You will collaborate with product and backend teams, contribute to data integration, and help maintain robust documentation and testing practices. London-based on-site role with UK-only applications.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of building and maintaining enterprise-level backend services using C#.
• Experience with NLP through work experiences or personal projects.
• Strong SQL and relational database design experience.
• Deep understanding of development best practices, including design principles, debugging and testing.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and test features using C# for SOTERIA™ solutions.
• Develop enterprise-grade backend services with a focus on scalability and performance.
• Integrate with market data, financial transaction datasets and APIs.
• Maintain SSMS schemas and contribute to documentation and testing best practices.
• Assist in the full development lifecycle from design to deployment and maintenance.
