Job description

Responsibilities:
  1. Conceptualize, implement, and maintain gameplay systems that achieve a fulfilling flow state, game loops, and balance.
  2. Develop the storyline, character back-stories, and dialogue, through scripts and storyboards, including any relevant research.
  3. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation (such as design outlines, diagrams, and visual mockups) that details the triggers, interactions, and subsequent events of specific features or aspects of gameplay.
  4. Work closely with User Experience (UX) and User Interface (UI) Designers to optimize the player interface.
  5. Build levels layouts.
  6. Identify design problems and devise elegant solutions.
  7. Work collaboratively with creatives, UI Designers, developers, and managers.
  8. Work on projects of varying length and complexity.
Must Have:
  1. Strong portfolio to be presented and defended during the interview.
  2. Two or more years of experience.
  3. Great understanding in various game design disciplines such as combat, progression, monetization and level design.
  4. Excellent ability to analyze, synthesize, and document concepts.
  5. Experience in game design from concept to live.
  6. Creative ideas with advanced problem-solving skills.
  7. Basic to advanced knowledge of user interface (UI/UX) in games.
  8. Passion for video games with a solid understanding of games.
  9. Continued education and curiosity for game trends, current design strategy, and technology.
  10. Excellent ability to manage timelines and be self-directed.
  11. Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  12. Comfortable with taking feedback and using it to improve your work.
Nice to Have:
  1. Experience with AR/VR immersive technologies.
