Founded in 2001, Resident Advisor (RA) is one of the world's longest-running music media brands and a cornerstone of the dance, electronic and DJ ecosystem. The site's audience of over 6 million monthly users is drawn in by a combination of news, editorial, club listings and ticketing, RA-branded events at venues and festivals worldwide, original films and a weekly mix series that has run for 18 years.
Purpose of the role:
We are looking for a full-stack mid-level developer to join our web development team. We are currently around ten developers, including our dedicated apps team.
Our main tech stack consists of a next.js frontend, and a GraphQL backend. We use React on the frontend and a mixture of node and C# on the backend. We also use elasticsearch, redis and deploy to Kubernetes in the cloud, using managed services and infrastructure-as-code whenever possible.
Your role will involve working in a small agile team with other talented full stack developers of a range of abilities and a dedicated product manager. We try to keep our management structure flat and you will have a chance to make meaningful contributions to how we implement features and the technology choices we make.
