Job title: Mid-Level Full-Stack Engineer

Department: FleetScout Engineering

Location: Home based

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

We are seeking a Mid-Level Full-Stack Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of FleetScout's SaaS platform. The role involves building features on our React front-end and .NET back-end services, collaborating with senior engineers, and maintaining high standards of code quality and DevOps practices.

Key responsibilities

1. Develop web features using React (TypeScript, MUI) with clean, maintainable code.
2. Create and maintain APIs with C#/.NET 8 microservices.
3. Write automated tests (unit, integration, end-to-end) to ensure reliability.
4. Contribute to CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Docker, and Kubernetes.
5. Support machine learning integrations by exposing YOLO/Python endpoints.

Skills and experience

1. At least 3 years of professional software development experience.
2. Experience building RESTful APIs with C#/.NET 6+.
3. Knowledge of relational databases and ORMs like EF Core.
4. Familiarity with Azure DevOps for source control and pipelines.
5. Proficiency with Docker and basic Kubernetes understanding.
6. Strong understanding of SOLID principles, clean architecture, and peer code review etiquette.
7. Experience with automated testing frameworks such as xUnit, NUnit, Jest, or Playwright.
