They are looking for a Mid Level Frontend Software Engineer to join their growing Digital Development team. Role

Title: Mid Level Frontend Developer

Salary: Up to £65,000 P/A

Location: Bristol - Hybrid (2 days on site)

What You’ll Do

• Design, develop, and deliver high-quality frontend solutions.
• Contribute to technical designs and innovative solutions.
• Troubleshoot operational and integration issues.
• Champion best practices, agile principles, and component reusability.
• Develop with JavaScript, React, Azure Cloud, and Kubernetes.
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies, ensuring tools are fit for purpose.
• Collaborate with the business to translate complex requirements into practical solutions.
• Provide accurate delivery estimates and challenge existing assumptions where needed.
• Manage and prioritise technical debt effectively.

What You’ll Need

• Strong expertise in JavaScript and React.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Cloud and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in industry-standard engineering practices (event-driven design, service-to-service communication, Redux pattern, reusable components).
• Solid understanding of the software engineering lifecycle and agile methodologies.
• A proactive, detail-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.
• Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment across multiple projects.
