We have the exciting opportunity to appoint an experienced mid-level Backend Software Engineer to support delivering projects, maintaining and improving our digital products and codebases. You will play a key part in the wider RAC Technology Design community, helping ensure good practice across all domains and adherence to principles.
You'll collaborate on technical designs, influence architectural decisions, and champion best practices in coding and problem-solving. With a proactive mindset, you'll identify opportunities to enhance customer experience and improve internal processes whilst supporting digital operations.
The successful person will need a high level of technical expertise in .NET Core, C#, SQL, and alongside experience using the Azure Cloud and Kubernetes. Joining Digital Development Team on a permanent basis, this role will be a hybrid role, where you will spend two days in the office in Bradley Stoke and three days at home.
Day to day, you'll take ownership of designing and delivering innovative technical solutions, creating practical recommendations, and sharing them with both your immediate team and the wider technology function.
