A leading company in fusion energy research seeks a Microwave Heating and Current Drive Physicist to develop theoretical models and design experiments. The salary for this role is £40,609 (inclusive of a Specialist Allowance). Onsite working is expected for 3 days a week, with active support for flexible working requests.
This role is based in Culham, Oxfordshire.
This role requires employees to complete an online Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS), including The Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) checks for criminal convictions and possibly a search of open source data.

As Microwave Heating and Current Drive Physicist, you will play a pivotal role in developing theoretical models of microwave plasma interaction and designing and implementing experiments to test theoretical predictions.
Key Accountabilities:
