Job summary

Skipton Building Society is hiring a Microsoft Power Platform Engineer to join our Head Office in Skipton. You will lead the delivery of Power Platform solutions, design apps and workflows, and build automated processes that improve member and colleague experiences.

The role involves mentoring engineers, championing security and compliance, and exploring new Power Platform capabilities to shape our automation strategy.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll lead the end-to-end‑ technical delivery of solutions built on the Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Automate Cloud, Power Automate Desktop, and Power Apps. You’ll design with purpose, build with quality, and deliver with impact.

What do we need from you?

• Leading the delivery of Power Platform solutions from design to deployment
• Designing apps and workflows that simplify processes and deliver measurable value
• Building automated processes using cloud and desktop flows
• Developing intuitive Power Apps (canvas and model‑driven)
• Implementing ALM best practices, including environment strategy and CI/CD
• Championing security and compliance across all solutions
• Driving quality and performance through testing, optimisation, and standards
• Mentoring and supporting engineers, fostering a collaborative, high-performance‑culture
• Exploring new Power Platform capabilities and shaping our automation strategy
