About the role

As Hargreaves Lansdown (HL) continues its digital journey, we are seeking an experienced Microsoft Infrastructure Product Lead to support our Azure Cloud Platform and VDI team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing and maintaining cloud solutions within an enterprise environment. You will join a highly skilled and committed technology team and will play a significant role in our technology transformation, working on our Azure Cloud platform. What you'll be doing

• Creating, maintaining, and delivering the strategic and continual improvement plan roadmap for the platform, including Azure Virtual Desktop, in collaboration with all stakeholders.
• Providing leadership and guidance to product teams to ensure platform availability, supportability, and operational capability.
• Managing a team of Engineers, supporting their career development through training, feedback, and mentoring.
• Proactively identifying platform enhancements, leading business case approvals, and communicating roadmaps while engaging stakeholders.
• Managing relationships with third-party vendors to ensure successful procurement and installation of services, conducting QBRs, and handling escalations.
• Acting as the point of escalation for platform-related defects and major incidents, ensuring RCA is conducted.
• Maintaining an understanding of current and emerging business strategies affecting platform services.
• Leading a high-performing Cloud Infrastructure team to deliver excellent service.

About you

• Understanding of Microsoft's Cloud Adoption Framework, Azure Landing Zones, and Well-Architected Framework.
• Proven experience in leading technology services in an enterprise environment.
• Experience in creating and maintaining strategic roadmaps and improvement plans.
• Highly organized with strong prioritization skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Interview process

The process involves two stages: first, a competency-based interview assessing technical and transferable skills; second, a face-to-face interview at our Bristol office, including a presentation.

Working Schedule

This is a permanent role, Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week. We offer hybrid working with a minimum of two days in the office weekly.
