Aventis is excited to partner with a leading technology firm seeking an experienced Microsoft Fabric Architect / Data Architect / Solutions Architect / Azure Architect to join their innovative team and play a central role in designing and delivering state-of-the-art data integration and analytics solutions for high-profile clients across various industries.
Key Details:
Location: Remote-based with flexible remote working options. Tech hubs in London, United Kingdom and New York, USA
Future Outlook: As the company grows, this position could easily move into AI strategy-type work, acquire leadership responsibilities, or be hands-on and close to the software. Ultimately, you will have the choice to shape it.
Key Responsibilities & Skills Desired:
Microsoft Fabric Solution Design: Architect and lead the development of scalable, cloud-based data architectures using Microsoft Fabric, encompassing data integration, transformation, and analytics.
Stakeholder Management: Work closely with business and technical stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver tailored solutions that align with clients’ goals and objectives.
Platform Expertise: Leverage Microsoft Azure technologies such as Azure Data Factory, Power BI, and Azure Synapse Analytics to design seamless, high-performance data pipelines and reporting systems.
DevOps & CI/CD: Experience with tools like Azure DevOps, Bicep, Azure Resource Manager (ARM), Terraform, Microsoft Dynamics, Databricks, Spark or similar.
Integration and Optimisation: Ensure smooth integration of new solutions with clients’ existing cloud and on-premise environments, optimizing performance and scalability.
Data Security and Compliance: Design solutions that ensure data security, privacy, and compliance with relevant standards (GDPR, data protection regulations).
Innovation and Leadership: Stay ahead of industry trends, exploring new Microsoft technologies and methodologies that can improve data-driven decision-making and provide competitive advantages.
Collaboration and Mentorship: Lead cross-functional teams of data engineers, business analysts, and developers, providing mentorship and guidance to ensure high-quality delivery of data solutions.
Role Overview:
As a Microsoft Fabric Architect, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing end-to-end data architectures leveraging the power of Microsoft Fabric. Your work will focus on transforming the data ecosystem, enabling a capability to extract actionable insights from large volumes of data, and driving better decision-making processes.
