Job summary

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience developing on Microsoft Dynamics 365, esp. Customer Service/Customer Engagement.
• Strong knowledge of Power Platform, including Power Automate and Power Apps.
• Experience in a client-facing consulting environment and call centre context.
• Financial services sector experience is advantageous.

We are working with a consultancy delivering a major transformation programme for a financial services client, and we need a Microsoft Dynamics Developer to join the team. You will work closely with the client's call centre team as part of an ongoing programme to improve how they deliver services to their customers, building and configuring Dynamics solutions that make a real difference to the day-to-day customer experience.

This is hands-on development work in a client-facing consulting environment, so you will need both the technical craft to build well and the credibility to work directly alongside client stakeholders and the wider delivery team.

What you'll be doing

• Designing, developing and configuring Microsoft Dynamics solutions to support the call centre and customer service function


• Working closely with the call centre team to understand how they operate and translating that into practical improvements


• Building customisations, workflows and integrations that streamline service delivery and improve the customer journey


• Collaborating with the consulting delivery team, business analysts and client stakeholders to turn requirements into working solutions


• Supporting testing, release and ongoing refinement as the transformation progresses

What we're looking for

• Strong hands-on experience developing on Microsoft Dynamics (Dynamics 365, Customer Service/Customer Engagement in particular is a real advantage given the call centre focus)


• Solid grasp of the wider Microsoft ecosystem, Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps), integrations and customisation


• Experience delivering in a customer service, contact centre or call centre context is highly desirable


• Comfortable and credible working in a client-facing consulting environment, alongside both business and technical stakeholders


• A pragmatic, delivery-focused approach, able to move from requirement to working solution without heavy hand-holding


• Financial services experience is an advantage, though the priority is genuine Dynamics delivery capability

The detail

Contract role, hybrid with 2-3 days per week on-site in Manchester. Client-facing, working within an established consulting delivery team on a live FS transformation programme.
