Job description
Overview

Microsoft Dynamics Business Central Consultant needed urgently for our blue-chip client in the centre of Edinburgh. The right candidate must have extensive demonstrable experience providing expertise during the build, implementation and support of new Microsoft Business Central ERP platforms, including strong functional knowledge of Microsoft Business Central modules, features and capabilities along with experience in end-to-end Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central ERP implementations.

Role & Location

The role is Inside IR35, paying up to £625 per day and requires candidates to engage via an FCSA accredited Umbrella company. Candidates must work 3-days per week onsite in the centre of Edinburgh, Tuesday - Thursday.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities will include working closely with the business and a 3rd party implementation partner to translate business processes into system requirements, map business requirements to the functionalities of Business Central, develop functional design documents, advise on best practice and provide the business with quality assurance on the implementation of the Business Central solution.

You will be working with the project team and implementation partner in order to implement and support key areas of the Business Central Deployment including Procurement, Finance, Sales, BC add-ons (Jet Reports and Continia Document Capture & Output), Business Central accelerators & enhancements, Security and Cutover and Migration activities.

Key Skills
  • Functional Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central: Deep understanding of Business Central modules, features, and capabilities.
  • Experience with end-to-end Microsoft Business Central implementations, including all phases from requirements gathering all the way through to go-live.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the Business Central data model to advise and support our project team with any best practice approach.
  • Demonstrable expertise with Business Central customisation, extensions, and integrations.
  • Experience with integrating Microsoft Business Central with other systems.
  • Business Central Data Migration experience.
  • Strong communication, presentation, stakeholder management and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong Problem-Solving Skills
  • Business Analysis Skills.
  • Ability to create training materials and documentation for end-users and experience in knowledge transfer.
