We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Lead MSBI Developer to spearhead our Business Intelligence initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in Microsoft BI technologies, coupled with a strategic mindset to drive data-driven decision-making processes within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Leadership & Strategy: Lead the design, development, and deployment of BI solutions using the Microsoft BI stack (SSIS, SSAS, SSRS), ensuring alignment with business objectives and data governance standards.
• Data Architecture: Architect and implement scalable ETL processes, data models, and OLAP cubes to support analytical and reporting requirements.
• SQL Expertise: Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions to facilitate efficient data extraction and transformation.
• Cloud Integration: Leverage AWS services to enhance data processing capabilities and integrate cloud-based solutions where applicable.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data analysts, business stakeholders, and IT departments, to gather requirements and deliver actionable insights.
• Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior BI developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Agile Methodology: Participate in Agile ceremonies, contributing to sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives to ensure timely delivery of BI solutions.

Required Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a lead role within the Microsoft BI ecosystem, with hands-on experience in SSIS, SSAS, and SSRS.
• Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in SQL, with a deep understanding of database management systems and ETL frameworks.
• Data Warehousing: Expertise in dimensional modeling and data mining techniques to support business intelligence initiatives.
• Cloud Awareness: Familiarity with AWS services and their application in data processing and storage solutions.
• Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Domain Knowledge: Experience in the insurance industry is highly desirable, providing context to business requirements and reporting needs.
• Agile Understanding: Basic knowledge of Agile methodologies and their application in BI project delivery.
• Power BI: Experience in developing interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.
• Master Data Services (MDS): Familiarity with MDS for managing and maintaining consistent master data across the organization.
• Certifications: Relevant certifications in Microsoft BI technologies or cloud platforms are advantageous.
