Job summary

Mexa Solutions is seeking a Dynamics 365/Power Platform developer to join our Stoke-on-Trent team. The role focuses on enhancing a heavily customised Dynamics 365 platform that connects purchasing, invoice processing, labour recording and finance, ensuring reliability and meaningful improvements for end users.

You’ll work primarily in the office with scope for occasional home working. You’ll collaborate with the business to understand priorities, provide practical solutions, and potentially grow

Qualifications

• Solid experience with Power Apps and Power Automate, and Dynamics 365 CRM.
• Experience developing, customising or supporting connected business applications.
• Ability to troubleshoot and work with APIs and data integration.
• Comfortable engaging with users and explaining ideas clearly.
• Experience working with a Dynamics 365 / D365 system.

What you’ll do

You’ll get under the skin of the existing Dynamics 365 and Power Platform environment, keeping it reliable while finding practical ways to improve it.

Your work will include:

• Troubleshooting issues and tracing faults across connected business processes.
• Building and improving solutions using Power Apps and Power Automate.
• Assessing older workflows and moving suitable processes to cloud flows.
• Making applications simpler and more useful for the people using them.
• Working with the external Dynamics partner on more complex development and changes.

You’ll ask questions, investigate how things fit together and understand the wider impact before making a change.

What you’ll need

You’ll bring solid experience with Power Apps and Power Automate, alongside experience developing, customising or supporting Dynamics 365 CRM and connected business applications.

You’ll also need:

• A methodical approach to troubleshooting and the patience to learn an unfamiliar system.
• Confidence working directly with users, gathering information and explaining your ideas clearly.
• The experience to work independently, knowing when to draw on specialist support.
• An understanding of APIs and data integration, plus familiarity with emerging tools such as AI Builder or Copilot Studio.
• A good understanding and experience working with a Dynamics 365 / D365 system.
