Microsoft 365 Consultant (SharePoint & Power Platform)


Overview
We are looking for a skilled Microsoft 365 Consultant to design and deliver modern workplace solutions leveraging SharePoint, Power Platform, and other Microsoft 365 services. This role suits a technically minded professional with a passion for automation, collaboration, and process improvement using Microsoft technologies.

The position offers flexibility, combining remote work with occasional client-site visits and team collaboration. It's an opportunity to work on impactful projects while maintaining a balance between technical development and client engagement.


Key Responsibilities

  1. Design, build, and deploy Microsoft 365 solutions using SharePoint Online, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Microsoft Teams.
  2. Contribute to solution architecture, ensuring best practices in scalability, security, and usability.
  3. Translate business needs into functional technical solutions, working closely with stakeholders.
  4. Provide technical expertise during discovery, handover, and support phases.
  5. Document solutions, processes, and deployment steps clearly and effectively.
  6. Support internal development frameworks and contribute to reusable assets.
  7. Offer occasional troubleshooting and technical support for deployed solutions.

Required Skills & Experience

  1. Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online, and the Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).
  2. Proven ability to develop low-code/no-code solutions with a solid understanding of governance and best practices.
  3. Familiarity with PowerFx, JSON, and ideally PowerShell scripting.
  4. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with an ability to work independently and in a team.
  5. Understanding of system integration, solution architecture, and information management principles.
  6. Previous experience engaging with clients or internal stakeholders to communicate technical concepts clearly.
  7. Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience.
  8. Microsoft certifications (but not required).
  9. Knowledge of AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot to enhance efficiency.

Nice to Have

  1. Experience in a consulting or agency environment.
  2. Exposure to Microsoft Graph API, Azure Logic Apps, or Dataverse.
  3. Familiarity with agile delivery methodologies.
  4. Interest in mentoring or sharing knowledge with colleagues.
