Job summary

ALS seeks a Site Quality Officer for the Shrewsbury site to maintain and enhance the ALS Quality Management System, conducting audits and thorough reviews of validation protocols and reports while ensuring compliance with current SOPs and procedures.

Your strong analytical and technical background will support investigations, non-conformance tracking, and proficiency testing across the site while assisting calibration and staff training initiatives to drive continuous quality improvement.

Qualifications

• A degree in a Science-related field is advantageous.
• Strong analytical and technical skills with an understanding of validation protocols.
• Keen eye for detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Good organisational abilities and proficiency in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Assist with review and amendment of SOPs and authorise issue of documents.
• Coordinate investigations and ensure timely submission per ALS procedures.
• Perform corrective/preventive actions for non-conforming work, complaints and audits.
• Perform internal audits, spot checks, and follow up on action items.
• Manage equipment calibration schedules and staff training; drive continuous quality improvement.
