Job summary

Oxoid Remel Microbiology, part of a global diagnostics group, seeks a Site Quality Assurance Manager in Basingstoke. You will lead quality operations in a GMP environment, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive continuous improvement across manufacturing, labs, and quality systems.

You'll manage inspections and audits, develop high-performing teams, and apply risk-based tools to deliver product safety and quality for customers worldwide. Occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree or Bachelor's with GMP/regulated leadership experience.
• Preferred fields include Chemistry, Biology, Engineering or Pharmacy.
• Certifications such as ASQ or Six Sigma are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality operations for manufacturing, labs, and quality systems.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance and quality excellence.
• Foster a culture of quality across the organization.
• Develop and lead high-performing teams delivering results for customers.
• Host and manage regulatory inspections and customer audits.
• Implement and maintain robust quality systems including CAPA and validation.
