Microbiology Lab Technician

CK Group are recruiting for a Lab Technician to join a company in the pharmaceutical industry at their Wokingham site on a contract basis until the end of January 2026.

Salary:
£13.30 per hour PAYE

Shifts:
Thursday – Monday 09:00-17:00. Please note that this includes bank holidays.

Lab Technician Role:

• Work safely in a laboratory, maintaining excellent housekeeping whilst following appropriate safety, environment & risk management systems.
• Follow quality procedures to meet the requirements of quality standards relevant to the workplace.
• Prepare for laboratory tasks using the appropriate scientific techniques, procedures & methods.
• Perform laboratory tasks following specified methodologies, such as Standard Operating Procedures.
• Use of specified instrumentation & laboratory equipment, including calibration where required.

Your Background:

• Knowledge of GLP/ GMP guidelines.
• A-levels or a degree within a scientific discipline would be preferred.
• Ability to operate basic laboratory and manufacturing equipment as required.
• Able to work the shifts, including bank holidays.
