Job summary

Northamptonshire Healthcare Foundation Trust is seeking a part-time Clinical/Counselling/Forensic Psychologist (0.6 WTE) to join the MHTR Team. The post focuses on specialist psychological assessments, therapy and caseload management for individuals with complex mental health needs and forensic histories.

You will work within an MDT and liaise with probation and court personnel, applying psychological informed approaches and maintaining HCPC standards in a supportive, multi-agency context.

Qualifications

• HCPC registration as a psychologist.
• Experience in clinical/forensic settings with complex mental health needs.
• Ability to work within MDTs and probation/criminal justice contexts.

Responsibilities

• Conduct specialist psychological assessments using complex data sources.
• Deliver evidence-based therapy and manage a client caseload.
• Lead on risk assessment, case formulation and treatment planning.
• Liaise with probation staff, court services and other stakeholders; contribute to service development.
