Job summary

Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced MHST Team Lead to provide operational, clinical, and professional leadership across Hampshire. You will lead a multidisciplinary team of EMHPs, CWPs and Senior Wellbeing Practitioners to deliver high quality, evidence-based mental health interventions for children and young people in schools.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our expanding Mental Health Support Team (MHST) service across Hampshire at a time of continued growth and development. We are seeking an enthusiastic, experienced, and motivated professional to provide operational, clinical, and professional leadership to one of our MHSTs.

As an MHST Team Lead, you will play a pivotal role in leading a multidisciplinary team of Education Mental Health Practitioners (EMHPs), Children's Wellbeing Practitioners (CWPs) and Senior Wellbeing Practitioners. You will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high quality, evidence-based mental health interventions, ensuring safe and effective practice, and promoting positive outcomes for young people, families, and education settings.

You will provide day-to-day leadership, line management, and clinical oversight to team members, supporting their professional development, wellbeing, and performance. You will work collaboratively with schools, partner agencies, and stakeholders to ensure the effective implementation of the MHST model and Whole School Approach.
