Job summary

Wight Healthcare is seeking an experienced MHST Team Lead to guide a multidisciplinary team delivering mental health interventions to children and young people across Hampshire. You will oversee EMHPs, CWPs, and Senior Wellbeing Practitioners, ensuring safe and effective practice and strong outcomes for schools and families.

You will provide day-to-day leadership, case-based clinical oversight, and support staff development, wellbeing, and performance.

Qualifications

• Experience leading MHSTs or CAMHS teams and staff development.
• Proven ability to drive service improvement and maintain high quality mental health provision.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational, clinical, and professional leadership to MHST.
• Oversee delivery of evidence-based mental health interventions for young people, families and schools.
• Line manage and develop EMHPs, CWPs, and Senior Wellbeing Practitioners.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our expanding Mental Health Support Team (MHST) service across Hampshire at a time of continued growth and development. We are seeking an enthusiastic, experienced, and motivated professional to provide operational, clinical, and professional leadership to one of our MHSTs.

As an MHST Team Lead, you will play a pivotal role in leading a multidisciplinary team of Education Mental Health Practitioners (EMHPs), Children's Wellbeing Practitioners (CWPs) and Senior Wellbeing Practitioners. You will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high quality, evidence-based mental health interventions, ensuring safe and effective practice, and promoting positive outcomes for young people, families, and education settings.

You will provide day-to-day leadership, line management, and clinical oversight to team members, supporting their professional development, wellbeing, and performance. You will work collaboratively with schools, partner agencies, and stakeholders to ensure the effective implementation of the MHST model and Whole School Approach.
