Job summary

Ultra Finishing Ltd is seeking an MHE Trainer to develop and deliver forklift training across multiple sites. You will ensure operators are trained, certified and operating safely, with training records maintained and safety compliance upheld.

The role requires travel between sites and shifts when training or refreshers are needed, plus the ability to adapt training methods to various learning styles. Proven forklift training experience and a current RTITB/ITSSAR licence are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in forklift operation and training (Counterbalance, Pivot Steer, Reach, High-Level Order Picker).
• Current RTITB or ITSSAR Instructor's Licence.
• Strong knowledge of forklift safety regulations.
• Excellent communication and ability to adapt training methods to learners.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and training software.

Responsibilities

• Develop and conduct forklift training for new and existing staff across sites.
• Certify employees upon completion and maintain training records.
• Identify training needs with managers and supervisors.
• Ensure compliance with forklift safety regulations and company procedures.
• Stay updated on industry changes and address safety concerns.
• Report forklift issues to management and maintenance contractors.
• Adapt training methods to different learning styles and record-keeping.
