MHE Operative with Training Responsibilities

We are currently looking for a MHE Operative (with training responsibilities) working Monday to Friday on a rotational shift to join our team in Corby.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• To undertake warehouse duties (as trained) related to the flow of stock through the distribution centre, from receipt through to dispatch
• To undertake a minimum of one other skilled duty that supports the success of the warehouse operation; in this case:
• The role holder will be responsible for the training of MHE operators on assigned site

Key training tasks include:

• Training identified operatives in the use of MHE (as qualified and trained)
• Auditing the daily check sheets for all MHE on site
• Filing of daily check sheets
• MHE weekly audits
• Mechanical malfunctions – recordings & calling in engineers and communicating VOR machines with employees
• Licence control of all BM and Temp workers
• Supporting accident and incident reporting
• Assessing all new employees who are employed to operate MHE
• Reporting any operators not complying with MHE standard operating procedures

Profile:

• Strong knowledge of warehouse processes
• A keen eye for health and safety and the tenacity to challenge
• Good written and oral communication
• Flexible in hours worked as well as approaching workloads
