Zusammenfassung

AO Retail Limited is seeking an experienced MHE Trainer to join our Crewe logistics operation. You will develop colleagues, improve safety standards and help build high-performing teams.

Opportunities available on permanent day shifts with a 12-hour pattern. You will deliver practical and classroom training, lead inductions, and train, assess and re-certify colleagues on MHE equipment while maintaining accurate training records.

Qualifikationen

• Experience delivering practical and classroom training to colleagues.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Solid understanding of health and safety requirements within a warehouse/logistics environment.
• Accredited MHE Instructor qualification (RTITB, ITSSAR or AITT) preferred.
• Willingness to update and maintain certification records.

Whether you're an established MHE Instructor or you've previously held an instructor qualification and are looking to get back into training, we'd love to hear from you. This is a fantastic opportunity to use your expertise to develop colleagues, improve safety standards and help create high-performing teams across our operation. We have opportunities available on both permanent days working a 12-hour shift pattern.

What You Can Expect To Be Doing As an Operational Trainer

You'll play a vital role in developing our people and ensuring they have the skills, knowledge and confidence to work safely and effectively. You'll: Deliver engaging practical and classroom-based training. Lead inductions for new starters and agency colleagues. Train, assess and re-certify colleagues on MHE equipment. Support compliance with health and safety standards across the site. Maintain accurate training records and certification data. Work closely with Operational, HR and Health & Safety teams. Identify opportunities to improve training effectiveness and operational performance. Ensure mandatory training requirements are completed across your shift.

Essential

Full UK Driving Licence. Experience operating MHE within a warehouse or logistics environment. Strong understanding of health and safety requirements. Experience delivering practical training and coaching. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Accredited MHE Instructor qualification (RTITB, ITSSAR or AITT) preferred. We're happy to speak with experienced candidates and support the right person in becoming up to date and operational again.

Desirable

Manual Handling Instructor qualification Level 3 Assessing qualification (or equivalent). Experience within a fast-paced warehouse, logistics or distribution environment.
