Job Introduction

We are currently recruiting for a Car Sales Executive to join our MG Dealership in Solihull.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the team ahead of our new dealership opening in July 2025. MG is one of the fastest growing automotive brands, with an extensive list of new models lined up for release. The successful candidate will be joining this exciting journey.

You will work Monday to Saturday, with a day off in the week, and Sundays on a rota basis. You will get one Saturday off per month to enjoy a full weekend off. Hours are 8:30 am to 6:00 pm Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm on Saturdays, and 10:00 am to 4:00 pm on Sundays.

Benefits include use of a company car and an OTE of £55,000.

Role and Responsibilities
  • Ensure every customer feels valued by understanding how our vehicles fit into their lifestyle, matching the right car with the customer, and providing suitable features and add-ons.
  • Handle financing, contracts, and aim for total customer satisfaction throughout the process.
  • Build trust, communicate effectively, and exceed customer expectations through qualification and first impressions.
  • Maximise opportunities through prospecting, follow-up calls, inbound enquiries, walk-ins, and internet leads.
  • Achieve monthly KPIs for unit sales, profit per unit, finance penetration, and add-on products to maximise profit.
  • Comply with FCA and data protection obligations by accurately collecting customer contact and vehicle data to enhance the customer database.
About You
  • Previous experience as a car sales executive, retail manager, or sales manager may be advantageous.
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed targets.
  • Ability to quickly establish rapport with customers.
  • Potential to develop a successful career in the industry.
  • Valid UK driver’s license.
  • Motor trade, automotive, or dealership experience is preferred but not essential; full training will be provided.
