MFL Teacher – North Sheffield | Elevate Supply

Elevate Supply is delighted to be partnering with a welcoming and inclusive secondary school in North Sheffield to recruit an enthusiastic and skilled Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) Teacher. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire students in their language learning journey and to contribute to a vibrant school community with a strong commitment to academic excellence and cultural awareness.

This full-time teaching role is set to begin as soon as possible, continuing through to the end of the academic year.

???? Pay Rate: £140 – £200 per day, depending on experience and qualifications.

The Role

As an MFL Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and interactive lessons in French and/or Spanish to students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. You’ll join a supportive department that values creativity, collaboration, and a passion for global languages and cultures.

Your Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high-quality, differentiated MFL lessons (French and/or Spanish)
• Inspire students through interactive and culturally rich teaching methods
• Prepare students for GCSE examinations with a focus on progress and attainment
• Promote an inclusive and respectful classroom environment
• Work closely with colleagues in the department and across the school
• Monitor student progress and contribute to regular assessments and reports
• Take part in school enrichment activities and language events
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching French and/or Spanish at KS3 and KS4
• A passion for languages, cultural education, and student development
• Strong classroom management skills
• Ability to adapt teaching strategies to support a diverse range of learners
• A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

Location: Based at a high-achieving secondary school in North Sheffield, easily accessible from Chapeltown, Hillsborough, and Ecclesfield.
