Job Title: MFL Teacher
Location: Swinton, S64
Pay Rate: £155 £220 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are currently seeking a dynamic and committed Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) Teacher to join a welcoming school in Swinton. Role Overview:

As an MFL Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality language lessons across Key Stages. You ll foster a love for languages, build pupils confidence in speaking and writing, and promote cross-cultural understanding in a vibrant classroom setting.

Responsibilities as an MFL Teacher:

  • Deliver engaging and differentiated MFL lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Inspire students to develop language skills in speaking, listening, reading, and writing.
  • Assess and monitor pupil progress, offering regular feedback and support.
  • Prepare students for exams and provide tailored support for those needing additional help.
  • Promote a classroom environment that values diversity and global citizenship.
  • Work collaboratively with department colleagues to enrich the language learning experience.

Requirements for the MFL Teacher role:

  • UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
  • A degree in Modern Foreign Languages or a related subject.
  • Experience teaching MFL in a UK school setting.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • A genuine enthusiasm for languages and international education.
  • Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
  • A full, up-to-date CV with explanations for any gaps in employment in the last 10 years.
